Foundation
The foundation "Haus der kleinen Forscher" [“Little Scientist´s House”] supports educators in their work and permanently embeds daily interaction with the natural sciences and technology in all day care centres in Germany.
Educational Concept
The workshops, materials, and work documents of the “Little Scientist´s House” are oriented with the development and performance of co-construction and metacognitive approach.
Initiators
The foundation “Tiny Tots Science Corner” is based on an initiative of the Helmholtz Association, of McKinsey & Company, the Siemens Foundation, and the Dietmar Hopp Foundation. The nationwide dissemination of the programme is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research.
